Born in placid Bayreuth, I have wondered all my life what is wrong with me; why my peers do not rebel with me and stand up against all the destruction and injustice in the world.
After abitur and civilian service I fled from Bavaria, founded an association for political commitment, experienced the peak and decline of the Pirate Party, had to witness the rise of Pegida in my university town Dresden (B.A. History), and eventually escaped to Berlin.
Today I work as chairman of works council and fight for justice at least on a small scale. The writing is an act of self therapy for me after 14 hard years of political disappointment. Thanks to Greta Thunberg, however, I find new rebellious hope after this terrible decade of nationalist right-ward shift.
